Box Opening of La Flor Dominicana Oro Chisel Tubos
LFD (La Flor Dominicana) makes several of its brands in a unique “chisel” vitola. The Oro is at the high end of the LFD line, the name “oro” is derived from the Spanish term for “gold” and is a nod to Litto Gomez (the founder of LFD) previous occupation as a jeweler. Given the relatively high price of the Oro, the box size of 5 is approachable, and the presentation with the gold tubos is excellent. I also like that, unlike many cigar boxes, the exterior of the box is not marred by various stickers and labels – a cellophane wrapper is the only impediment to opening the box.
